Welcome To Our Community

The Alameda Special Education Family Support Group (ASPEDFamilies) was created by parents and supported by parents, students, educators, and community members.  The ASPEDFamilies strives to support our families, build the ASPEDFamilies community, and promote communication within the Alameda community.

Parents, students, educators, and community members are welcome to participate in group meetings.
ASPEDFamilies holds quarterly meetings during the Alameda Unified School District school year.  Our meetings offer an opportunity for you to share resources, ask questions, and build community.

ASPEDFamilies Meetings are organized with the first hour as a program presentation; the second hour of the meeting is held for confidential parent sharing.

ASPEDFamilies is a committee of the Alameda PTA Council.  The Alameda PTA Council is a 501(c)3, tax-exempt organization.
